Dr. Tresley is an amazing surgeon with extensive experience and a very professional yet friendly demeanor. I went in for a consultation for an upper eye blepheroplasty to remove skin off my hooded eyelids. He explained that unless I also had a temporal eyebrow lift, I would not get the results I wanted, due to the fact that my eyebrows were resting on my brow bone, not above them. I am so grateful that I took his advice and booked both procedures. The results are amazing and so natural looking. Instant ten years off my appearance. The procedure and recovery was pretty straightforward with no complications. I am so grateful that I followed his advice. I will be going back to him next year for some minimal Botox and fillers because he really has an eye for creating a natural look. Strongly recommend Dr Tresley!
I have significant upper lid heaviness that affects my vision. My lids rest on my eyelashes, which is particularly noticeable when I wear mascara since it holds up the lids. I decided to see Dr. Tresley based on positive online reviews, his credentials and persuasive website. My visit at NorthShore Plastics began with a visual field test. In previous exams I had been told to focus straight ahead at a single point, but this time the technician repeatedly reminded me to look downward, which seemed unusual. After the test, Dr. Tresley used Upneeq drops, diagnosed muscle related ptosis, and told me that removing excess skin or addressing my brows would be strictly cosmetic and only available as an out of pocket procedure rather than submitted for insurance. A week later, a board certified oculoplastic surgeon at a research university determined that my obstruction is also caused by brow position and extra skin, not muscle dysfunction alone. The two opinions differed enough that I was left unsure whether the first assessment reflected the full cause of my symptoms. Prior to selecting a surgeon to operate on one’s eyes, I encourage patients to ask for clear measurements, documentation of what is causing the obstruction, and explanations of any billing codes being used.
Dr. Tresley and his team are absolutely amazing! I could not have asked for a better experience. The results are beyond what I had hoped for. Completely natural looking. So happy I did it!! If I could give 10 stars I would!

After my initial consultation I chose to have blepharoplasty, my brows lifted, and laser resurfacing around my mouth and eyes. Everyone I met at Dr Tresley’s office was supportive, kind, and efficient. Tae guided me through the whole process. The procedure was performed at Dr Tresley’s Northbrook office. The surgery and recovery was fast and painless. I am so pleased with the results!!!
